Reliable measurement is the foundation of every smart marketing decision
Everyone talks about data-driven marketing. Almost nobody talks about whether the data is actually reliable. The measurement layer determines the quality of every optimization decision downstream.
Scope
What's included — and what isn't.
Clarity on what this service actually solves, so there's no mismatch in expectations.
Included
GA4 custom event implementation and configuration
Server-side tagging and consent architecture
Conversion definitions aligned to the business
Data quality audit and validation
Tracking architecture documentation
Not included
Paid campaign management (that's PPC/Google Ads)
Product or website feature development
BI tools or dashboards outside the Google ecosystem
GDPR legal advice — I handle the technical architecture, not legal counsel
Historical Universal Analytics data migration
Decision-oriented measurement
GA4 should start with questions, not available events.
More events do not mean better measurement. The goal is architecture explaining behaviour, conversion and quality without ignoring consent or limitations.
Layers I validate
Measurement plan
Goals, questions, KPIs, events, parameters, identities and owners behind each decision.
Collection and consent
Google tag, GTM, Consent Mode, CMP, cross-domain, referrals, data layer and behaviour before and after choice.
Quality and use
Debugging, duplication, naming, filters, attribution, retention, integrations and dashboards used by real people.
Possible deliverables
Measurement plan
Event and data-layer specification
Configuration and QA
Consent map
Dashboard and usage guide
What data cannot guarantee
GA4 is not a perfect source of truth
Modelling is estimation, not observation
Consent Mode replaces neither a CMP nor legal advice
Attribution depends on definitions and integrations
Frequently asked questions
Do I still need to migrate from Universal Analytics?
Universal Analytics is already off. If GA4 isn't properly set up with key events, it's urgent — without it there's no reliable data for decisions or Google Ads bidding.
When does server-side tracking make sense?
When signal loss (iOS, ad-blockers, consent) starts distorting decisions, when events need to be enriched with CRM data, or when compliance (GDPR) requires full control over what leaves the server.
Do you work with Consent Mode v2?
Yes. I implement Consent Mode v2 with certified CMPs to keep Google Ads and GA4 conversion modeling working while respecting GDPR.
